Cue — Teleprompter
The short version: Cue collects no data. There is no account, no server, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party SDK. Everything you create in Cue stays on your iPhone.
Cue asks for camera and microphone access to record your takes, and for speech recognition to power Follow mode — the feature that scrolls the script in step with your voice. Speech recognition runs entirely on your device: Cue explicitly requires on-device recognition, and your audio is never sent to Apple's servers or to us. If on-device recognition is unavailable for your language, Follow mode is simply disabled rather than falling back to a server.
Subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details. Apple's handling of that data is described in Apple's privacy policy.
Nothing. Cue has no server of its own and makes no network requests to us. We do not collect, store, sell or share any personal data. Aggregated, anonymised sales figures are visible to us in App Store Connect, as they are for every app; they contain nothing that identifies you.
Deleting a script or a take in the app deletes it from your device. Deleting the app deletes everything the app stored. Because we hold no copy of anything, there is nothing for us to delete on our side — and nothing for anyone to breach.
Cue is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone, including children.
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with a new effective date. Since the app's architecture is offline-first, meaningful changes are unlikely.
